Looks sweet man! im liking the paint job quite alot, and good to see you are using the reach/stack measurement system. Whats the leverage ratio on that beast?
And also if you could it would be cool if you made it so you could use a shorter shock or change the point where the shock attatches so it can turn into a 5incher.

We are still playing with it. if we can go 5-6" conversion we just might, it is a good idea for this bike, steepen the angles a bit too by doing that so it would be a great trail bike. As it sits here it is full on Megaavalanche/Super D enduro DH bike optimized.

this might be the bike that convinces me to buy a trail bike

what are you gonna call the suspension design cus thats just like trek with their full floater design, get a patent from them I guess

No, ints like a full floaterand dw/maestro
totally original

thats what i said!!! and actually its a VPP/VF4P (that includes maestro and DW) design + floating shock.
BTW Mr.Oneghost sir, no need for the water bottle holder -.- Although come to thing of it if you had some sort of integrated battery pack holder for a night light battery and/or WIRELESS DISK BRAKES (yeh i said it) it would be cooler. Today, especially with someone who can cough up $2500 for a frame, there is no need for a water bottle. They/we just use camelbaks.

 ummmm, no battery wireless shit......

'twas a joke. But seriously if you had a way for me to throw a battery pack into the frame directly it would be sweet. Especially for the Super D cat of riding, and trail riders, probs a good idea.

the frame is nothing like a Trek. NO THING like one. Trust me.

battery pack eh? that is what the water bottle boss is for, your battery pack.

I like the wireless brakes....humm I think you are on to something!

haha k ill take your word for it, save for the fact it runs a floating shock lol. As for the battery pack thing, i was thinking a slot in the frame, if not for a battery pack than just storage for small things in general. And judging by the way it looks on the pic. The water bottle wouldn't be able to be put in or taken out lol. and yeh, wireless brakes would rock lol.

Trek doesn't own the floating shock concept. Its been around for a lot longer than that.

 2010 glory much?

 not much at all actually

 agreed, nothing like it!

the down tube, the susp. linkages etc, the rear triangle, the curved seat tube. yes, its not LOADS like it but i can see some influences.

this is just the initial concept. the final drawings are on the web site now. with some designs like this, you need to bend tubes to make room for the shock and if one tube is bent/shaped you need to do them all to make the bike flow better. There is some influence, yes, but simply by design of tube shapes for clearance.
