It has issues. It's a faux-bar linkage, and the shock is actuated at a funny angle. That's why they had to put the hole in the top-tube. To clear the shock reservoir. WEAK SAUCE...

That was the whole reason for the design... To be honest if the split in the top tube doesnt affect strength or stiffness then whos to care about it... I certaily dont.
