 Still do... and quite a few of their own XC race forks. Maybe that's the direction they're going in....

 I really hope they don't end up with downhill/freeride forks of their own.

 Why not? A big company putting the time into developing a new downhill or freeride fork couldn't hurt the industry in any way. Apparently their XC and All Mountain forks are amazing, so I would love for them to make an 8 inch fork.
