i like them. but on a dh bike i would prefer a boxxer og a fox 40. if i was building a freeride bike i would put the 888 on it.

dh performance wise, they don't touch the boxxers or 40s. if you just ride dh for fun then yeah they'r mint, fit and forget, if your racing the boxxers or 40s are the one.
