3 Yoga Poses To Alleviate On-The-Bike Back Pain
@rp86: Thanks! The way I expressed it might have been a little confusing - but Im glad you get my point. And yes its definitely difficult talking to patients about other contributing factors to pain whilst making sure they know you acknowledge their experience of pain. Explaining stuff like central sensibilization and other mechanisms is a big pedagogical task.

3 Yoga Poses To Alleviate On-The-Bike Back Pain
@Mfro: There is no such thing as a good lifting technique. When you perform on an elite level and wants to have the maximum output of power in a lift for example having a certain technique makes sense. If you got a job requiring lots of heavy lifting then its the lack of restitution and loadmanagement that seems to be the larger issue. Im about to finish my education as a physiotherapist so im doing plenty of reading -thanks :)

3 Yoga Poses To Alleviate On-The-Bike Back Pain
@Joecx: Leading experts are recommending doing way less imaging because studies have shown that many people walk around with disc bulges/protusions without having any symptoms at all. So no just because you have a disc bulge or protusion doesn't mean you are In pain. Just like you can see people with arthritis in the spine or knees and not have any pain at all from it. There's a lot more to pain than the structures of our body. Psykosocial factors plays a HUGE role.

3 Yoga Poses To Alleviate On-The-Bike Back Pain
Im sorry but people should not be afraid to that exercise at all, you even got gravity working against the contraction. Its like saying you shouldn't go to full extension in a knee extension machine, because you will lock out your knees and damage them - it's simply not true.. The spine is not fragile and which is something many people have a hard time understanding because of "slipped disc" stories. a slipped disc does not equal pain - which is also why many leading leading experts recommend only doing scans and imaging when there's talk about red flags like a fracture or a tumor. giving people the idea that their body is fragile causes fear avoidance, catastrophic thoughts which can be a huge contributor to the experience of pain - and the major player when it comes to chronic LBP

Tom Van Steenbergen Broke Hip Sockets Into Multiple Pieces, Femur, Lower Vertebrae & Shoulder in Red Bull Rampage Crash
@kmsafety: I dont know if the guys is being a troll, but I kinda want to stick my neck out there and agree with him. Elite Athletes tend to have more grid than regular people which can play a big factor in the rehabilitation process, but calling them af different breed is going a bit far. Fracturing both sockets is pretty severe and rare, and will make the rehabilitation more challenging. And it´s definitely not unlikely that he needs total hip replacements, which is super early to get at his age. Also he didn't fail safely, yes he didn't land head first, but that doesn't make it a safe fail at all. Miracles can happen which is the case with Paul bass, but these guys aren't super human.

First Look: Taking e*thirteen's New Vario Dropper Post Apart
My current and my previous bike were specced with the e.13 dropper. Had major issues with both of them and customer service that only told me to service it, which didn't help.. not stoked.

Return to Earth Now Available for Digital Download
Bought it the moment I saw it was available, and Im looking so much forward to seeing it tonight. The movie side of mountain biking is something that I've always loved, it gets me stoked to go out and ride. But then I see most of the movies these days are being released in segments to watch for free only weeks or a couple months after the original release date it makes me think twice about buying the movies coming out which I find a little sad. I guess it makes sense I terms of exposure for sponsors, and as compensation for a decline in sales perhaps, but it´s still a little sad for those who still buy the movies.
