no really. the last is a single pivot. this has two small links.

Nahhh not the same concept at all. Similar upper link but the herb is a single pivot, where as this has a floating rear end and has a shock that is compressed from either end. If you are wanting a comparison it is almost exactly the same linkage system as the Propain Rage www.pinkbike.com/photo/3769985
