 yeah I used auto air paint, a non toxic water based automotive paint.

 So I take it u don't need a mask or shit if it's non toxic?

Also. How did you sand it?
Did you use an airbrush?

 i used a mask because i was inside, but if it's a well ventilated area you don't have to. to sand it I used a black and decker mouse with coarse paper to take out the dent in the helemt, a medium to take off the paint and fine to finnish it off. I used a 1600grit paper to finnish is off
