i think Asa’s strength is that he can ride anything but having something close to what people ride in Utah doesn’t hurt.
this stop was refreshingly different and it was nice to see which riders were comfortable with “improvised” riding. turns out it’s the usual suspects?!
as for the next new venue, having some experienced riders test and give feedback before the race should become a requiremt. (those riders should be really fast but not linked to any official team) people like brendog; etc…

the way i see it; its mainly to adjust progression & mid stroke support. within the window of actual geo its just a fine tuning option with no real downsides. people who want less pedal strikes while climbing will like the high mode and people who ride more park will like the low.
