Naughty, but nice m8,very nice indeed.Ya know me by now, i'm a massive fan of your ideas and your bikes. The Tanto has'nt done anything but rock from the first proto pics in my book,it's a beautifully crafted machine, from head to toe.
They are going to be a lot of people in the states and on P.B happy to hear the news that your taking requests, though if i was lucky enough to be able to have one it'd be raw.
Beatiful work Dragon, best of luck to ya in all ya do m8.

Thanks Gary! I have had a ton of requests for raw bikes so it looks like the "white anodized" finish is here to stay! I'll be offering all of the bikes in this finish with little bits of ano (like the orange brake mount) and decal kits. Paint costs more anyway and though it's cool, the raw can be polished up to a mirror shine if you wanted too. doing that now for my personal Musashi.
I do ship internationally ;-)
Cheers!

love the massive "MADE IN TAIWAN" on the box behind the frame. Are dope bikes like I have been commented, but still would be nice to see another USA made company around.

it would have been nice to make them in the US but my manufacturing cost was going to be $450 each making this a $1400 hard tail. that wasn't going to fly.

You do what you got to to get by. I have seen such beautiful welds from over there. Just put together a Niner and the seatpost and head tube were off. Made in the USA is great but the stuff from overseas is at par or maybe even better than some built here. Just my two cents.

no worries. Niner bikes are all made by Pacific in Taiwan (same plant that makes Canfield Bros BTW) they do pretty good work so that is surprising). We use the Ideal plant to manufacture our hard tail frames and they do wonderful work for us. Believe me though, if we could produce the same quality herein the states for the same price we would.

Well, what about this idea... why don't you offer USA made frames as a special order. I'll tell you one thing... If I have the choice in either a usa made frame for a good amount of money vs a foreign made frame for cheaper (both by the same brand, in the same frame model), I'd shell the extra coin just to have it made locally.

Might be an option for you. I bet you would have quite a following of loyal customers for offering the choices.

we have been looking into that for a while, sill an option on the table but also still sourcing fab plants until we can do it ourselves. our last in house fab plant fell through.
