 internal lowering?

not internal lowereing michael, but kurt u should beable to lowere it by moving some parts around, oscar did it to his van 36

that kinda ruins the point of getting the 180mm fox if your gonna lower it

ahh.. ive ridden the wildcard with my totem, and my lyrik from 115-160... i still prefer it with 180, and with it on the 5" setting in the back instead of 6.5".

the bigger fork raises my BB a little bit, but it slacks out my HA. keeping the rear in 5" lowers the BB and slacks it out even more, and since i use this bike for downhill a lot i prefer the slackness.

eventually, i'll have a real downhill bike and i'll be able to throw a smaller fork on this... but for now it has to be my do all bike and this is the best compromise for it for my riding style.

Ya. consider being aimed downhill the whole time... I'd want to be leaned back a little. I'd still put 6.5 on but I see your point

 weight?
  • 2 0
39lbs on the dot as it sits with maxxis DH tubes and 2.5 dual ply minions. i'm going to get a ti coil and some lighter tubes and should be able to drop to 37.
