Going out on a limb... I thought that the 250 had less travel and very different geometry? More for freeride/flowy stuff? Just on an assumption I would have thought this would be better with a single crown? Correct me if I'm wrong.

well, maybe because he doesn't need a full blown 8inches of rear travel? Maybe his local area's trails aren't super gnarly and are quite pedally, so he would rather have the lighter, more pedal friendly 250, compared to the heavier, less pedalable 450?

what makes the 450 better than the 250? they are pretty much identical other than a few minor tweaks

making each better for different things...
