Selected by Ian Hylands - I'll start by saying this is a good shot, the composition and feel of it are really nice, not to mention it looks like he's boosting this jump. But it could be a lot better. Just a tiny move to the left would hide the trucks behind the landing, and getting rid of the bike and bags by the lip would clean it up a lot as well. I like the shot, but I think it could be better.

Have to disagree with Hylands on this one, why should making the rider always look like they are riding alone make a good shot? riding alone is actually pretty boring.

Im with you i think the bikes add a little somthing to the pictures, maybe not so much the trucks since its a bikeing photo and because its right in the middle of the horizon.

If that was really a big deal it would literally be a 2 second fix in photoshop with content aware... but the pictures great and does not need to modified.

agreed. I like the bike there and barely see the truck ... doesn't distract the eye from the main focus at all ;-)

looks like clutter to me.. and i obviously he is not alone somebody had to take the shot. i agree with the critic on this one.
