I have geax AKAs on it now. Iam a bigger guy and i dont like the thought of forks snapping, the totem does the trick. The bike comes in at just under 28 pounds so its not bad. glad some of you guys like it!
No kidding!? Here's my bike: www.pinkbike.com/photo/5112269 You have to run a tensioner and a guide though.. it's kinda annoying. You don't have to with this bike, thats my point.
i know its not a double, but im gonna have to call a bit of a design steal, just put pictures of the two bikes beside each other and you'll see what i mean..
i do know what you mean. looks wise they're similar, but looks wise, they're are at least 5 other frames on the market that look even more like the Double. Thing is, a 1mm shift here, and 1mm there, and it's a completely different frame.
yeah i hear ya, i was just going looks wise as they look almost exactly the same except this is just a bit more sexy, it probably rides completely different and is also probably lighter than the double
do any of u even know whos bike this is? Bigelow is a big dude therefore a lowered totem would last a hell of a lot longer for the type of abuse this guy will put the bike through on a slopestyle course.
stiffer interals? look im not hating on the bike or the rider i just dont think a totem should be lowered when i think of a totem i think of a beefy large travel single crown fork not a slope style small travel bike, its a sick buke no dought thats just my opinion, but mine doesnt matter its the riders only i mean people prolly dont like my set up some times but i love it!
yes and stiffer in general. some forks have flex and for a dj/ss bike this would have extremely little to none. no one is sayin your hating tho i remember the first time i saw a totem on a DJ bike
