the idea is good but the end result is silly, the motor is mounted right where mud and rocks are going to be striking it. Plus on low frames it will be close, if not touching, the ground under full compression. Also the torque from the motor will create extra stress on the frame as bike frames are not designed to be used with after-market motors

I agree, I get it, but that motor is mounted in such an unbelievably stupid place.

The idea is actually very good, Imagine if you lived somewhere you have downhill trails but the only way up is shuttling, and your friend with the pick-up is sick or just can't show up that day. This thing would be great, no waiting, shuttle yourself up and than ride down as fast as you can. That being said, the design has major flaws, especially the emplacement, AM and XC riders don't need this, it's the big travel guys, and they go put it in the one spot most prone to major hits from rocks and roots... Good idea, but still a work in progress IMO.

Half link chain on backwards, mounted in the stupidest (But in the meanwhile most convenient) place ever....

I'd trust it...

i think its ridiculous, it takes out the idea of mountainbiking.. the sport involves pedaling, if you dont want to pedal dont start mountainbiking, start motocross
