Society Xenos I've tried have been pretty good. You must have got a dodgy one. :/ Nice bike bro. Nice colourscheme too! (pretty much the exact same as mine).

true, its always me that gets something that goes wrong :') haha
and thanks man Smile im just going to try get ridgids, as im only riding street anyway Smile

Cool. I love the feel of rigid forks, but I hate twatting my wrists. ABS+ is the best feature of the circus IMO. Allows you to run the fork fully locked out, but if you f*ck up there is a blowout and it will move, and then go back to rigid again.

 that sounds pretty sick !
im just going to get ridgids as i am used to a bmx already anyway, and dont want to spend out more money than i have already on forks Smile

Fair enough. Decided which rigid yet? A DMR OW fork would be awesome on there. It weights just over 1kg Eek

yeah, think im just going to get the identiti rebate 1420, so i dont have to buy a new hub or anything, cos i havnt had my bike long at all, and then if i ever want to go back to suspension, i can get 20mm forks again, so its a winner all round Smile
im not bothered about weight really, i just want my bike to be even all round
with rebate forks, my forks would be going from 2700grams, to around 1500 grams anyway, so its a lot of weight lost anyway : )

Sounds good. I went from 2750g to 2005g when I went from an 09 DJ3 to a 2011 manitou circus. What a difference.

true, the society forks are weighing down the front end quite a bit too, i can feel the front end dropping when im doing stuff, so ridgids would make the bike more easy for doing tricks and stuff and would make a major difference, maybe id have to lighten the back end too, maybe a tioga powerblock and a lighter innertube or something Smile

I run a maxxis DTH tires and a light weight tube on the back. It's good.

My advice would be go get the above set up and then put a maxxis advantage front tire on the front with a middle weight tube Wink
  • 1 0
probably just a powerblock for me, cos i mostly ride street anyway and any tube can be lighter than mine cos i got downhill tubes front and back at moment haha :')
and i wouldnt change the front tyre, these dmr tyres are proper good Smile
thanks for the advice though man = ]

looks dialled bro, whats with the flange at the stem ?
  • 1 0
 thanks man
& haha i knew i would get this question, i was trying out brakeless for a few days as my disk was bent to hell somehow, so i left the flange there as i knew id put the brake back on Smile
and ive put on my other disk now, so the flange is back by the lever where it belongs
  • 1 0
ah ok, do you not like breakless ?
  • 1 0
i do like brakeless, its just i go down a massive hill most days to ride in the town centre, so it wrecks my shoes so quickly, and most of the people around here have terrible driving, so a brake is the best option for me haha Smile
  • 1 0
haha yeah I live up 2 big hills, I just push down them Razz
  • 1 0
haha, its mostly all downhill for me, so the easiest way is to bomb it all the way Big Grin

Shit forks ? I like mine... If you wanna try rigids, im selling some good ones Wink
  • 1 0
yeah there awful, not even had them long either, going to contact where i got them from as they are not right, they squeak, make clicking noises and dont come back up well, going to try get some ridgids instead of these
  • 1 0
yours look different than mine though... and i dont have any noises and they run smooth for me.
so like my rigids ? Razz
  • 1 0
yours look like the model up from mine man Smile , mine were the cheapest ones haha
and yeh i like your ridgids, but if i send these back and they ask if i want anything different ill get some brand new ones (same ones as yours), cos these were a early birthday present anyway, so they have been paid for by parents and that
  • 1 0
oh fair enough. hope they take your shitty society's back and give you the rebates !
  • 1 0
same man, these forks are making me even more annoyed every time i ride my bike !
proper want to get rebates, just want my bike to be ridgid so i can ride street better Smile just like a big bmx
  • 1 0
they do make the bike feel like a bmx, and get it really low, if you like you bar height now, you might wanna get bigger bars with the rebates, and add a bit of spacers
