looks sick man, does it ride nice with rigids ? i am thinking of getting a set to ride it on street, or i dont know whether to just get a set of manitou circus forks :') haha

cheers man, it rides AMAZING with rigid, but if you do make the swap to rigid, give it a good few weeks of riding because when you first jump on after the swap it feels like crap because of the change in a2c height so things like manny's and hops feel awkward (but you will get used to it and it will become normal eventually so you will forget it ever felt weird), however spins feel a lot more controlled along with fakies. i now have higher rise bars as well (deity villain 3's) and it is a beautiful ride, for me, it is perfect with rebate parks' a2c with high rise bars. any lower a2c (like dartmoor bronx) would be to low unless you were on a capital or USB frame. and if you were going to get the circus fork, but run it almost rigid (which i presume is how you would have it if your are concidering ridid) then you might as well go rigid, unless your going huge or doing big slopestyle then all the suspension you need is in your arms. hope this helped Big Grin

thanks man Smile still steering towards sus even though i love both, as i have to ride down rocky roads and stuff on the way to town, and id need to get those rebate 1420 which are like 1600grams including the axle, and its only like 400 or so grams more for the circus forks, so i think even though they are more expensive it will most likely benefit me. also i ride dirt sometimes and have to ride down footpaths which are like cobbles, so its super bumpy and ive tried it on bmx before and it is not possible at all as it hurts so much haha :')

its not half as bumpy on a bigger bike I find, if i ever ride my bmx it feels worse for some reason. I ride half dirt falf street/park really. i love them for dirt i feel like i can pop off the lips moreand the sus doesnt suck it up. but its all preference really. the only think i would say about manitou, they are better than the used to be, but their manafacturing is still cheap. I work in the LBS so this comes from experience im not just making it up, i wouldnt use marzocchi as they are made by sr suntour which we all know is crap i would only ride rockshox or fox IMO

thanks man, ordering wheel parts soon and building a wheel for rigid, got ns rns fork, as i like the bmx style topcap it has, then just keeping my sus and other wheel for when i go on long rides or whatever

nice one man, i just picked up some pro 2 evo hubs today to go on mine with the trials rear hub, i would reccomend getting the front hub if you dont mind having disc mounts that you wont use. and good choice with the fork just make sure you get your foot jams right otherwise it will rape your toes

true hope hubs are nice Smile , but im getting a female eclat pulse bmx hub in red so it goes with my colour scheme, for a cheap price, as i ride bmx too and i prefer it more bmx style. then also if i want to swap parts with my bmx or anything its easier for me
and yeah, have to get the foot proper sideways so it wont slide through haha Smile

Have you ever considered 26" in this? I have seen a few people run 26" in octanes, but can't remember if it's the Spark or Void Razz

would there be any noticable advantages?

Well, I find ftjam whips easier one 26", more balance on the front wheel but thats just me. Higher off the ground, so not worrying to much about hitting your BB but hop anyways, so no. It's just different, less wild.

meh, i think ill stick 24, save a but of cash, cheers for the idea though

Yeaah theres no point switching unless you genially want to go 26".
