If the bushing is offset, does that mean the bolt going through them needs to be changed to fit? Also, what degree can they slacken by?
Cheers.

They use the original bolts, nothing to worry about there! Up to around 1.5 degrees off with 6mm bolts and 1 with 8mm bolts.

Thanks a lot mate Smile Do they also drop the BB height?
If so, by how much? I think my bolts are 8mm.
Joe.

Yes they do. Depends on the bike due to linkage ratios etc. Though usually around 5/6mm

Could you give me the details on what could be done with an 07' Giant glory freeride? I don't know the bolt size, etc.
Cheers, Joe.

Hi Joe, The glory takes one bush. A 30x8mm. Just make a note of your bike when ordering through our site, www.offsetbushings.com Cheers! Jeron

Do you reckon these work work for accommodating a slightly larger shock whilst keeping the i2i length near enough the same, providing more travel with the same geometry?

Depending on how much adjustment you need, then yes - they would work.

Finish on the brass outside diameter don't look too clever, is this finished turned or just stock size?

Stock size. It's not as pretty as a fully finished / polished item obviously, but its not a product that is visible at all and using stock rod allows us to charge a far lower price.

Does that not cause play between the bush and the brass bushing?
Was always under the impression it should be a nice press fit, resulting in no pay.
  • 1 0
Nope, its a smoother fit than a standard bush as its stock rod. However considering the sheer number of these I have sold, you'd be surprised at how small a number of problems I have ever had. The next step is to start machining the brass down from larger dia. rod. That way I can make them a tighter press fit - though its far more labour intensive and would put the price up.

Looking for some for a Bandit. What would the cost be to ship to the US?
  • 1 0
We have made a lot for the Bandit so thats no problem.

£8 for US shipping. So for a pair (£20) including shipping it is currently $42.46
