Preference yo. For me personally, if I was looking to have fun riding with friends i'd want to ride a flowy mellow trail as opposed to some gnarly steep one.
@bscar......I would agree that steep trails can be fun for technical decents, and have their place in mtbing. But If you want, fast and flowy, railing corners, getting air and sheer speed. That trail grade hits the mark right on. There is no such thing as an average trail....only average riders. ie) it is what you make it. Plus trails over 10 percent are not sustainable because of water erosion, and quickly turn in to chunder streams.
Just wanted to say thanks to all the hard working Kootenay core DH'rs who made this trail what i always dreamed it could become. Hope to see you at one of greatest upcoming grassroot epics the 7th Annual Dirt Diggler DH in Fernie BC. Cheers to Nick Nault for capturing another great dusk run
There are plenty of sharp right turns in this trail, sharp left ones too. Also a good healthy dose of fall line "better have a solid grip on the bars" straight aways too. Rad trail, too bad I'm too pussy to slay the "booter boulevard".....
Awesome trail. Looks like another incredible shot granted by the labour of the builder and crew.
I feel lucky to say I've ridden it! Seems like it was too long ago.
It is an all time trail.
