Recently read an article on the Tazmanian town of derby, how a almost abandoned ex mining village has reinvented itself as a mtb resort with over 80km of rolling flowing trails that weave seamlessly through the terrain and natural sights. Sounds like a dream location to me, would probably have to be a week there followed by a week in new Zealand for me.
