Pinkbike Poll: It's Bike Park Season. Do You Care?
I recently moved within an hour of a bike park for the first time in my life and the difference in riding progression is night and day. Bike parks offer much better built features that are difficult to find if at all on local trails. I’m also much more likely to send something bigger knowing that there’s medical staff close by instead of being by myself in some mountain range where someone may or may not come by for hours at a time. If you live in
An area where local trails have the same level of trail building then it might not be such a glaring difference but most of the places I’ve lived, there’s a drastic difference in sketchiness between park and local trails.

Video: Dylan Tremblay Explores a Forgotten Jump Paradise on a 1986 Rocky Mountain Blizzard
These “abandoned” features are in better shape than any of the actively ridden trails remotely close to me. Unreal to have trails that good so plentiful.

Video: How All Bodies on Bikes is Growing the Sport In 'We Are Cyclists'
@graveldaddy:
relax man it’s not that serious. It’s awesome to see so many people on bikes. It’s even better that these people can enjoy cycling in its truest form. My comment isn’t exclusionary it just points out how people can still have a great time on bikes without swallowing the E-bike marketing hook line and sinker. If you need an ebike to be able to enjoy riding bikes then get yourself an ebike.

Turns out even these wonder folks don’t need a motor to have a good time on a bike, imagine that

Sam Hodgson & Vero Sandler’s Backyard Gnome Jumps Face Potential Teardown After Council Rejects Application
Man those jumps are gorgeous but I can’t imagine risking the effort and resources it must have taken to build that without getting permission first. Seems like a massive gamble. Hosting unpermitted professional events seems like a pretty obvious way to attract attention. Hate to see it cuz the tracks looks unreal

Pinkbike Poll: What Do / Would You Use An eMTB For?
People wouldn’t hate e bikes as much if ebikes riders would just admit it’s the lazy way up instead of a bazillion other excuses like “a new way to ride”
* not referring to those who require ebike use due to mobility issues etc
