Absolutely amazing! Cant say enough about this shock I have it on two of my bikes and all the guys down at the Valencia location all rock! Ive known them for years and will support them no matter what for the life of the company and beyond!

Great shock! Supple in it's action and smooth damping performance throughout the stroke. Performs on par with Fox DHX 5's and Vivid's but lacks the seperate high and low speed adjustments available from other manufacturers' 'World Cup' level dampers. Personally, I find the position sensitive valving in the ROCO to work on par with a well dialed seperate speed adjusted damper. While a 'perfectly' tuned high/low system would be smoother very few us have mechanics on hand with at each trail to set up our rides for us... That's where the position sensitive adjustment on the ROCO is a godsend. Dial in a bit more or less compression or rebound depending on your preference and trail and the position of the shock in it's stroke determines the high/low damping variance. Simple adjustments and works like you want it to. As with any coil, the ROCO really comes alive if you put a Ti spring on it.

Bottom line: A bit cheaper than other top offerings, the ROCO WC gives you the performance you want but isnt quite as adjustable... and it's not as 'cool' as a DHX or a Vivid but otherwise, will run toe to toe with any other mainstream shock out there.

One thing to consider: May have just been me, and I am a big guy, but the stock bottom out resistance was set way too low. I'd check the pressure and confirm that it's in your desired range before you send it off anything serious.

the shock is long, good and
not out to get,

only the Fox DHX 5 from coming off at this level

and because it gives the 76,2 mm hub, it is very good for the old tune downhill frame well

the price is slightly better compared to Fox

The roco wc is a great shock for dh specific use. And FR. But it shines on dh courses. Typical zocchi plushness. Long lasting, also easy to maintain. Just remember to have the correct air pressure within the lo and max pressure. Simple to adjust, nothing fancy pants unnecessary adjustments. It has all you need to go big and gnarly.

the BEST shock i have ever ridden on, i have the 2010 model and it is amazing. the first day i had it on i could notice a huge difference even though it was just upgrading from the standard roco r and it wasnt set up fully yet. ive since set it up to my style of riding and its still the best shock i have ever ridden on. the only problem i have with it is remembering what way to turn the bottom out resistance knob cuz its upside down on my bike and kinda close to the frame haha. but other than that its amazing.

Well, i used to ride Fox shocks, but this one was very good what i don´t like about it is the rebound, doesn´t feel like is doing a lot like with the fox, and the knobs can fall i lost the rebound one. I decided to send it to PUSH to a full tune when the were working with marzocchi, and since then was totally a different level.

These are a great shock once you have them set up, I have this shock and a DHX 5.0 for my supreme DH and they feel very similar and plus they're cheaper then a Fox for the same performance.
