First Ride: The Santa Cruz Nomad 7 Gets Slightly Slacker and Slimmer
Staring at the geo charts - does this Nomad (170 fork, 65mm stroke shock) look to be simply a long travel version of the Bronson (160 fork, 60mm stroke shock)? The differences in HTA, STA, BBH, etc. are what you'd expect from swapping a 160>170 fork

Review: Michelin Wild AM2 & Force AM2 Tires
This is a fantastically thorough and well thought out review. I agree with everything written. I'm a huge fan of Michelin's MTB tires, but have always find the compounds to be weather (temperature) dependent. The Wild Enduro (soft compound for cool weather and hard compound for summer) was my favorite front tire during the 3 years that I lived in Albuquerque. It was a little draggy and I wanted something that did better on hardpack (the WEF side knobs were better in soft/loose). The Wild AM2 would be an ideal front tire with a second, softer compound offering. Riding experiences with these: - Spring/Summer 2022 I rode a Wild AM2 combo on a V3 Wreckoning. - 2023 riding season I ran the Wild AM2/Force AM2 combo on a Ripley AF with a 140 fork. For 2024, the used front Wild AM2 was moved to the rear - dang tire wouldn't wear out, they last forever! - I've ridden these tires in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Virginia and east Tennessee. The Force AM2 always left me wishing for more climbing traction and I was happy to finally replace it. I hoped it would've been an improved/longer lasting Aggressor, as the side knobs on the Force AM2 are bigger/more durable than the 2.3 Aggressor. Alas, it wasn't what I was looking for. For all purpose usage, I found the Wild AM2 compound to be firmer than I preferred. For hot weather rides on the dusty/sandy/rock trails around Albuquerque, Tucson, Phoenix and Sedona - the Wild AM2 combo is wonderful. Fantastic warm/hot weather desert tire. The casings on these are fantastic for everything below dedicated bike park usage
