Pinkbike Poll: Would You Buy A 32" Wheel Bike?

I don't mind those wheels. Might be good for really tall people (not me). 650b, 29 and 32 can co-exist. But all this shows again how down on their knees the bike industry is because they have been missing the bus for so many years now. Instead of addressing the issues in MTB, they keep coming up with crap that nobody needs and they are hyping what in reality is for a subset of riders.

Yepp, same thought here. Or give the winning rider such a token and they can choose to use it for this next race because it was all bad luck or call it a day if they are simply not feeling it that weekend or had a bad crash.

Pinkbike Poll: Have You Upgraded Your Handlebar?

Geometry plays a role, but I don't get this carbon vs. AL part. Front tire, fork setup, lever rotation, bar roll and grips have a greater impact for me than carbon vs. AL. Just as examples, RF Turbine AL for me is just as fine as OneUp V1 carbon (both 35mm rise and clamp dia., 780mm wide) And I don't like the deep grooves that lever clamps leave, when they rotate on a carbon bar. One fine day that outward part snaps off.

Pinkbike Poll: What Bike Technology Advancements Do You Dream About?

I want 4 pod brake calipers that do not need massaging and re-alignment until the pads are worn uniformly. I also want plane rotors that do not touch the pads until the lever is pulled. All this is usually not an issue with the front brake, but with the rear brake. Other than that, biking is a simple concept and I want it to remain simple.
