@succulentsausage: Yeah I remember them saying that but I don't buy it. If they wanted to release one they would have. There's so much low hanging fruit on the current platform that would've made for a great bike.
Same bones as current enduro but add 27.5 rear adjustability. Steepen the seat angle. Removable rear drop outs (similar to Firebird/LT). Proportional rear chainstays. Slightly updated kinematics.
It wouldn't be an revolution but some needed refinement to the current one. This would've been an easy refresh and sold a lot of bikes. Stupid move on their part IMO.

@Spencermon: what's wrong is that you appear to be defending that proportional chainstays aren't a better way of designing a bike. And yes, a bike with a 500 reach and 420 chainstay will not corner well compared to a bike with a 500 reach and 460 chainstay.

@HeatedRotor: they will ride much more similar if their chainstay lengths are proportional, this shouldn't even be an argument.

@Spencermon: cool, so you think when a bike manufacturer makes a size small and a size large of the same bike, they should feel drastically different? Because if you’re small with a 440 reach and large with a 500 reach both have a 435 chainstay, it’s a completely different experience. This shouldn’t be hard to understand.
