KS Teases Inverted Enduro Fork - Taipei Cycle Show 2023
I think the inverted forks can work but they are going to be more difficult for the customer to service, especially ones with an open bath style damping system ie: manitou dorado which is arguably better but is just as difficult to rebuild as a Moto fork ive done both.
The other issue I see especially with a single crown inverted fork is there is just no way to prevent the flex you get in the steering feel, it is just not stiff in that direction at all. It makes more sense on a Dorado because the Dual crowns can add a good amount of rigidity especially with the fact that weight is less critical.

Review: 1,000 Miles on SRAM's New Eagle Transmission
That buys a lot of 12 speed SLX derailleurs.
Are people really breaking this many derailleurs? I think I may have broken one in like 5 years and I ride east coast rocks and at bike parks all the time, I've bent some hangers and scratched some up but not often am I totally destroying one.
Maybe try making sure you're not on the biggest cogs before descending.

SRAM Releases Stealth Brake Lineup
Seems like bikes and components have gotten so good I feel like lately the bike industry is struggling to come up with stuff to separate us from our money for very marginal benefit, or none at all.
That being said I love my Code RSC but not sure why anyone would buy these if they already have working ones, also the "new" Level 4 piston caliper just looks like the Guide caliper. I bet the Guides will probably be phased out of the line up to prevent too much overlap.

ODI Releases New Reflex Lock-On Grips
@mechatronicjf: They are really comfortable, if you cut a normal lock on in half youll see the renthals are actually much thicker than lock ons as far as rubber thickness goes.
everyone thinks push on grips are weird but basically same desing has been used on dirtbikes for 50 years.

ODI Releases New Reflex Lock-On Grips
My DH bike had some of the fat Deity grips when I bought it and after riding two days at Snowshoe I had arm pump so bad my arms were rock hard and could hardly ride. Never had an issue with that ever before.
Been running the push on renthals for two years now the black compound super grippy doesnt last super long and the yellow kevlar lasts quite a bit longer and almost as grippy.
I wear large/XL gloves

Unno Launches the Primal Unno Project Race Team
Bike appears to be built like the Pole bikes are.
Made from two halves then glued/bolted together, you can see the threaded bosses for the clamping screws on the headtube and downtube. Neat idea but certainly not cheap or very modular when it comes to a prototype.

Video: Mitch Ropelato Goes Bar to Bar With Supercross Pro Justin Barcia
Be cool to see a couple of the SX guys get more into MTB maybe when they retire see how quick they pick it up, they simply just don't have time to do more than XC and road training during their careers.
Most people into cycling probably arent aware how much of a machine these guys are on road bikes, usually 3-4 big rides a week depending on if in season or off season.

5 Key Stats From Downhill Racers in the Pinkbike State of the Sport Survey
Pinkbike comments: "The riders need to be paid more, they can barely survive on this wage"
Also Pinkbike comments: "If I have to pay to watch world cups next year I will not and never will, I just wont watch"
Obviously the pay to watch scheme does not guarantee the riders get paid more but if nobody pays to watch it certainly guarantees they dont ever get paid more.

Photo Story: Intend BC Factory Tour & Infinity DH Fork Assembly
Really cool to see how these are assembled and the internals, very high quality and man they look sweet.
But id say they sure need some kind of guards on the stanchions, Ive put some pretty big gouges in DH fork lowers pretty quickly.
