Now Finished: Ask Me Anything with Trauma & Orthopaedic Doctor Henry Turner
Thoughts on back protection while riding, specifically regarding a spinal fusion, I have a fusion from T2-T4 from an old MX injury. Would a CE level 2 back protector provide a useful amount of protection other than impact protection? Would a neck brace do more harm than good by transferring impacts to my shoulders and almost directly into my fusion from the back plate of the neck brace?

Tech Briefing: Flashy Apparel, Fresh Rubber, Tons of New Bikes & More - March 2019
I actually bought a pair of the clipless vectal on closeout for $70 bucks. Fit is a bit strange alteast for my wide-ish feet had to size up then felt too big in other areas and the heel lift was majorly annoying on any hike a bike (non issue pedaling). I got some other shoes but am happy with these for any rides i know no hiking is involved. Also sounds like they fixed the heel lift issue with these new ones id definitely recommend especially if you can try them on.

First Look: Diamondback Release 29 and Carbon Sync'r
For what it's worth it probably involved next to no engineering for diamondback to make the release a 29er probably used a catch rear triangle which forms 27.5+ they now have another option. Loved my release 27.5 perfect trail bike and plenty burly. The syncr looks like a perfect do it all hard tail

Burning Question: What's Next for Mountain Bike Helmet Safety?
I saw a company marketing a mtb and snow sport specific headset but it was basically glorified bluetooth head phones and you used an app which no more than basically calls the person and had to have your phone on you, not ideal. I use Senas on my motorcycle helmets and its a great system good range, not phone dependant and loud, downside might be range in woods and somewhat delicate system but theres no reason you couldnt fit one to a full face.

Review: The 2019 Pole Machine Has a Serious Need For Speed
kinda crazy if you think about the amount of machining and tech involved with the gluing involved and it costing less than $3500 for frame/shock. Most high end carbon frames are a little less than that and they do almost the same amount of machining but only do it once for each mold AND they are manufactured overseas. Shows how much profit is in those carbon frames.
