@R-M-R: You're right in observing how this works broadly, and I can't speak to how Chromag have developed the Throwdown specifically. But we don't have the scale to open forging tools, so our rockers, yokes, dropouts, brake-mounts, pivots and so on are all CNC. They're also unique to us; we don't share that with anyone else. It's more expensive on a per-frame basis but we're only producing 100 frames at a time. Most forged parts would need 1000 MOQ to break-even.

@mammal: Can see the similarities but I assure you no part of our frame is shared with this one. We wouldn't share our designs in that way and to be honest I can't see Chromag borrowing from other brands either. Seems to me that the Throwdown is solving the same problem as the Edit and that's why it's a similar solution. If I didn't have my own bike brand I'd probably have a Chromag.
