Registration Open For Crankworx Innsbruck Featuring a New Downhill Track
@zede: yeah, last year during the week, it seemed like I was the only rider down there. Oh, well, less traffic is definitely nice, but I guess no gondola for me simply means that it won't be worth the trip. Anyway, looking forward to see how this new track in Mutters develops.

Registration Open For Crankworx Innsbruck Featuring a New Downhill Track
@zede: https://www.bikepark-innsbruck.com/preise-oeffnungszeiten/oeffnungszeiten.html Last time I checked, which was just last week because I was planning a trip, things were worded a bit differently. This now seems to suggest that at least the trails will actually be open, while it does say that the gondola will be closed in summer 2019. Perhaps just some maintenance work over the summer, like in Schladming?

Registration Open For Crankworx Innsbruck Featuring a New Downhill Track
Hm, curious to see the new track and I am wondering whether it will be a permanent addition to the park in Mutters. Since the old track went down to Götzens and the gondola there is not running this summer, does this mean that the old track will be gone for good? Or is this just a temporary measure? Can any locals shed some light on the situation?

Thanks! Riding is fun, but riding with cool people is more fun! Enjoy QT and greetings from Frankfurt!

Video: Pivot Cycles' Showcases New Phoenix 29 R&D in 'The Evolution of Speed'
Had the pleasure of talking to Bernard Kerr about the bike in the gondola at Queenstown a couple of weeks ago. Bernard was very friendly and open about talking how they approach things. This bike will definitely be trail-tested once it comes out and currently, it looks like they are still figuring out a number of things to get things absolutely dialled. Not sure I really want a 29er DH bike and I still love my old Phoenix, but I will definitely have to try out the Phoenix29. So I guess, this was successful marketing;)...Good luck with the further r&d process and for the upcoming race season!
