@Jaybirdy: I mentioned XTR because that's what the OP mentioned. (But if situation was as you put it and I owned XTR, I would be pissed that I could not move my groupo over to this new frame if I was in the market to do so.)
Not complaining about price, was pointing out that if you are buying an expensive (compared to Alu) carbon frameset to build up one would think you'd like the maximum number of custom options (Shimano cabled or Di2, TRP, Microshift, Wired Sram, Etc). Especially if the difference between having that flexibility or not is 4 holes in the frameset (wouldn't expect them to guide the cable runs in this instance)

@jasoninmarin: Kind of agree on AXS vs market segment but should have cable routing (even the unguided kind) on the frameset only tho.
Agree on rear shock points.
