Chromag Stylus M/L 27.5 Custom Hardtail

$2495 USD
Selling my custom 2017 Chromag Stylus M/L, a premium 27.5 steel hardtail built with quality parts throughout. Professionally assembled and maintained. This bike comes from the era when Chromag still meant steel hardtail. Simple, strong, durable bikes built to be ridden hard and kept for a lifetime. Before aluminum and full suspension crept in, Chromag’s identity was really bikes like this. Set up for aggressive trail riding, steeps, technical terrain, and the kind of riding where a good steel hardtail still makes a lot of sense. This is not a stock complete bike. It was built up as a solid, simple, long-lasting rider with high-end parts and a lot of Chromag character. Build includes: • 2017 Chromag Stylus frame, M/L • RockShox Lyrik RCT3 Dual Position Air fork • Magura MT7 4-piston brakes • Magura HC3 lever • Jagwire Pro hydraulic hose • Jagwire shift housing • Chromag wheelset • Maxxis Minion DHF tires • Burgtec Ride Wide handlebar, 770mm • Burgtec Enduro MK2 stem, 35mm • Cane Creek Forty headset • DMR Axe crankset and bottom bracket • North Shore Billet 24T chainring • Also includes DMR Blade 26T and Chromag Sequence 28T chainrings • SRAM X01 drivetrain parts • Chromag Trailmaster saddle • Thomson Masterpiece layback seatpost • Chromag quick release seat clamp • Lizard Skins Danny MacAskill grips • MarshGuard mudguard • Crank Brothers Stamp 7 pedals The bike is in good used condition, mechanically solid, and ready to ride. No dents or cracks. Wheels are true. Fork and brakes have been maintained. There are a few very minor scratches from cable / lever rub, but overall the paint is in very good condition for a 9-year-old mountain bike. In my opinion, 2017 was the sweet spot for the Stylus: aggressive without getting weird, simple, strong, and built around a really good 27.5 setup. It still feels like a proper hardtail — fun, direct, tough, and built to last. Size: M/L Wheel size: 27.5 Price: $2,495 USD Located in Bellingham, WA. Prefer local sale, but may consider shipping at buyer’s expense. Not in a rush to sell. I’m happy to hand it down to my grandkids if the right buyer doesn’t come along. Feel free to message with questions.
