2026 Les Gets DH World Cup Preview: Rider List, How to Watch & Race Favorites
Unfortunately he won't be racing this week in Les Gets or next week in VDS. Said he's hopeful for Whistler in 6 weeks, though.

From the Top: Avinox's Joey Hu & Ferdinand Wolf on eMTB Development, Power, Trail Access, & What Comes Next
It's a valid argument, no? Virtually all cars on the road today can exceed 100mph fairly easily but you almost never see anyone going that fast. Granted much of that restraint is due to more enforcement on highways compared to single track trails... but the point still stands. To me, the problem boils down to lack of trail etiquette and common courtesy for other riders. The common denominator being irresponsible riders, not high-powered ebikes.

Video: Loïc Bruni vs An Average Rider On a Proper World Cup Track
The difference between a beginner rider and good rider is decently big... but the difference between a good rider and an elite WC rider is MUCH bigger. It's mind blowing how fast they are.

Pinkbike Poll: It's Bike Park Season. Do You Care?
"All the laps with minimal effort to get to the top" is the top ranked choice in the last question... the irony lol. So many ebike haters on PB yet they seem to want exactly what an ebike can provide.

What We Learned From the Chaotic Qualifying at the South Korea DH World Cup
@bashhard: No one chooses to crash or have a mechanical to handicap their run (and hinder riders behind them)… but hardtail dude chose to ride a hardtail which handicapped his run.
All that to say I agree that the course makers and officials are mainly to blame here. B-lines should’ve been more fleshed out. And hardtails shouldn’t have been allowed in the first place… or at least stagger the starts more if you know a certain rider is going to be ill equipped to maintain adequate race pace.

What We Learned From the Chaotic Qualifying at the South Korea DH World Cup
Hopefully the last time we see a hardtail at a WC race... absurd the officials allowed it at this level. Dude was clearly just there for the attention and certainly got it... at the expense of the actual racers safety. What a self-serving dork.

DH Tech Randoms Part 2: South Korea DH World Cup 2026
@stefkears: Not fake news. Wyn himself said it was hardtail guy. From Wyntv: "Hardtail guy caused the guy who was on the landing to stop, leading to Wyn's Crash"

DH Tech Randoms Part 2: South Korea DH World Cup 2026
Hardtail dude has been a menace all weekend. Apparently caused Wyn’s crash and was so slow in qualifying that Asa had to pass him… ridiculous tbh. What was he doing there.

@drail139: Damn, poor dude can't seem to catch a break... so many injuries over the years. Such a shame, he seems like a really great guy.
