2014 Transition Covert 29 Xl Stealth(dark grey) 140mm , Listed for sale is my 2014 Covert 29. I rode my original for 2 years then cracked the lower chain stay, The frame and chain stay where replaced under warranty. It has 1 yr of riding on it. I have the Fox CTD installed on it( fresh service and rebuild) , I have a Rock Shox Vivd R2C with a 500# coil for a additional $200 if you don't mind the extra weight and pedal bob on the climbs. In regards to size vs modern geo and sizing, it would be closer to a large by today's standards. The bike has been regularly maintained, has the largest volume reducer available for the Fox CTD. Asking $1200 USD cash, no trades. This would be a great first bike for some one to try, or a replacement for something pre 2014. Throw a 35mm stem and run it as a Large , pick up the Vivid for $200 and go as hard as you want, keep the CTD and keep it light.
