@nicoenduro: I'm the same height. To be fair I alternate between my 26" and 29" regularly and after a minute I forget which is which. I'm only reminded by the 29 rear wheel occasionally giving me a tap.
If I'd have my way, I'd have a 26" with a modern wheelbase, head angle and seat post angle and call it a day.

@2supple: @2supple: Did they really stop selling though? A bit like 26" how often could you walk into a shop and see the same bike side by side with different wheel sizes? I feel like a bike shop orders what they think they'll sell and if the buzz was 29 I think they'd be hard pressed to go, lets get 50/50 on each size.
My memory of 26 (and I have the last Spec Enduro 26") was in 2013 you could get 26 and 29, the year after it was 650B and 29, so it wasn't like the consumer could say, oh I'll have a 26, they'd gone.

It seems a weird hill to die on for Leadville. If you no longer need a mountainbike, then why fight it? If the fastest bike is a gravel bike then just let drops in.
Or change the route/terrain etc until a mountainbike is actually needed?

Mountain Bikes From the Past 7 Years That We'd Still Happily Ride
The problem is ten years on something is only worth what someone will pay for it. I've got 2014 Enduro with multiple wheels, coil and shocks etc etc. While I think it might be worth $1000 I guarantee if I listed it for $500 it would be gone in a day.
The other big thing with used bikes (and I have a few) is you pretty much guarantee you're up for a fork and shock service minimum.

Mountain Bikes From the Past 7 Years That We'd Still Happily Ride
I was really torn on this. I really wanted one but like many others got a Stumpy Evo instead and I wonder if it's finally eaten the Enduro's lunch?
Sad, I think I own every model made except for the newest. Really should pick one up if nothing else but to complete the set.

@nedersotan: Cloxx loves to interchange reach and effective reach.
I understand what they are trying to say.
If you need 30mm more stack for 32" wheels, and they use the head tube to get it, pushes back on a 64 degreee angle or whatever it is. It's going to eat into the reach, so they'll build the rest of the bike to keep the reach figure the same.
32"s are going to have higher stacks, simple, they'll keep reach the same. We didn't size down bikes when we went from 26" to 29", reach is reach, a higher stack is the price to pay for a higher stack.

@nedersotan: I can't imagine having no weight on the bars (IE neutral) is actually done for very long, IE standing on straights, between corners etc. But ever single corner you need to drive your weight in the front tyre. In the attack position I still have a 62% rear weight bias (worse seated saddle up etc) so a lower bar/stack improves this for me. Now not very fashionable and I don't race World Cup DH, but I also need to pedal the thing back up.
If I tried to corner with a neutral bias (IE light hands) I'd imagine I'd be unweighting the front even more. That was about the only thing I didn't try with the scales, standing neutrally.

@pmhobson: They are 588 and 590mm. Going off spec sheet as it's a PIA to measure. I'd assume my 29" being longer has been negated by the steeper seat tube.
