@vinay: I still have my 04 SX and an 09 SX. As you pointed out, the SX Trail evolved from the SX, not the other way around.

I miss being able to swap wheels around and generally a lot of parts. Most of my 26" wheels are 20mm and 135mm so there was a golden period of being able to move parts around.

As a golfer and a mountainbiker I can tell you that my smashed hip from crashing resulting in six months on crutches, has proved more challenging to get over than the sore elbow I get sometimes playing golf!

Are Shimano & SRAM Developing Brakes For Headset Cable Routing?
The picture of the SRAM brake highlights at least one problem. You have the master cylinder nice and flush and then it may hit the bend in the bars.

I feel like World Cup racing just lacks the inertia to make it into a mainstream sport. Ideally more races, but as pointed out in the article, who wants to sleep on couches more often? Ideally at least a dozen races, closer together geographically and in time. And if it's going to be around the world, have a NZ and Aussie race close to each other...
