Review: The Quarry Rage Bait 32" Hardtail
I don’t but then I’m not an XC racer (barely an XC rider), if I’m doing XC it’s on an e-bike otherwise it’s more winch and plummet or DH riding for me.
I think if I was a keen XC rider I’d be paying more attention. But then I never thought I’d ride a 29er back then either.

Review: The Quarry Rage Bait 32" Hardtail
@matjtom90: whatever it was, it just felt completely wrong compared to the 26” bikes at the time. I think they were trying to compensate for the changes the bigger wheels made to handling rather than embracing it.
Looks like they learned from last time.

I’m liking the fact that they seem to have skipped all the shitty geometry that early 29ers had and the fact they look so normal from the start

First Ride: Sour's 32/29" Mega Mullet Trail Bike
That looks so… normal. They seem to have skipped the bit from 29er evolution where they made terrible Geo choices.

MUST WATCH: Brandon Semenuk, Hugo Frixtalon, & Kade Edwards in 'Parallel III'
Forget all the cool tricks, I’m still amazed at how the hell they managed to time everything so perfectly

GoPro to Merge With Starman Optical in $285 Million Deal
@beermtb: apparently tips count towards their minimum wage so employers can pay them almost nothing. Only in America my friend. I was on more than that an hour at 15 when I worked in the local Leo’s supermarket in 1994

GoPro to Merge With Starman Optical in $285 Million Deal
@slumgullion: it’s a sad indictment of the state of the US at present that many countries are happier dealing with China than them. It would have been unheard of during Obama or Biden’s time.

GoPro to Merge With Starman Optical in $285 Million Deal
@Henryd555: but most Americans aren’t on $300k with good health benefits, the same as most Brits aren’t on £100k+ in the UK. The average US wage is just over $69k compared the the UK’s £39k ($52,653) so the difference for most people isn’t much but the US lacks all the benefits that keep us safe (welfare, healthcare, parental leave, annual leave, sick pay, etc). I have never heard of anyone in Britain suffering from medical bankruptcy but in the US they have around 530,000 every year.

GoPro to Merge With Starman Optical in $285 Million Deal
@TommyNunchuck: don’t forget that the US minimum wage is $7.25 ($2.13 for wait staff) compared the the UK where it’s £12.71 ($17.61) so most Americans will actually earn less than UK and EU. And while in some states their tax will be lower, they have to factor in a lack of paid sick leave, annual leave, healthcare costs, etc.
