Pinkbike Poll: Do You Suffer From Arm Pump When Mountain Biking?
I used to get it a bit on my older bikes which were shorter with lower front ends. Now I have proper reach and stack(helped by higher rise bars), I don't have nearly the same issues. Better brakes also helped, I think larger diameter rotors helped more than the brakes themselves

Spotted: TRP Is Developing a New Gravity Brake
I quite like the look of the chunky prototype, similar to the new Saint

Check Out: Very Light Backswept Bars, A High-Rise Stem & The Dakine Slayer Helmet
I thought I would add an update as I rode with this stem for the first time yesterday. It took a few runs to get used to the extra height but felt comfortable after that. I didn't struggle to weight the front of the bike at all around corners which was something I was concerned would be an issue. The benefits was less fatigue in my arms and being able to be more stable through rough rock sections. I'm definitely going to keep this setup. FWIW I run Ergotec 70mm rise bars already and previously had a 50mm DMR defy stem, I kept the same number of spacers under my stem as I had before.

Check Out: Very Light Backswept Bars, A High-Rise Stem & The Dakine Slayer Helmet
@jpb1227: I bought one a couple of weeks back, I've fitted it but not ridden it yet. My rough measurement was about 30mm effective length with a 64° head angle

Check Out: Very Light Backswept Bars, A High-Rise Stem & The Dakine Slayer Helmet
@CamEng: and once you account for the head angle the actual reach of the stem will be even less

Shimano Reinvents Deore Group With New Brakes & Cable-Actuated Drivetrain
I think they stopped doing the trickle down from XTR>XT>SLX>Deore. I assume most of the sales are deore so it makes sense to prioritise that after the flagship XTR release

Bike Check: Dylan Maples' Modified Pivot Phoenix
I would guess that he overfills the system slightly, perhaps with a narrower bleed block. The other option to reduce free stroke is advancing the pistons but that isn't a permanent fix

Review: Shimano XT 8220 Brakes - More Consistency, Same Value
@SimonVelo: I assume for Hope it's due to your location as they keep making parts for decades. I'm pretty sure you can still buy parts for Bulb hubs.

Review: Shimano XT 8220 Brakes - More Consistency, Same Value
Shimano deore 4 pot can be purchased for about a quarter of what Hayes or Hope can be found for. I'd love fancy brakes but I can't afford them
