Photo Report: Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle 2025
I’ve watched every Crankworx event for the past 20 years, and I’m really disappointed by the change in rules. Now, if riders fall on their first run, they’re out, which is making the competition more cautious and less exciting. The previous format, with two runs, allowed riders to take risks and go big. This new rule takes away the opportunity for riders to truly show their best. I think it’s a step back for the event’s excitement and spirit.
