Burning Question: What's The Future Of E-Bike Motor Power?
Any bicycle becomes a motorcycle when a motor is attached to the drive train. The power issue is just classification and how we label what outputs we will permit in what class. As long as there is a motor people who like going fast will use it as an outlet to go fast and find ways to go faster. There is no place you can make an argument for allowing or not allowing ebikes,motorcycles,e motorcycles other than noise,speed, and weight on the trail. The problem there is in fact that they are all still a motorcycle and will have impacts related to their noise,speed, and or weight on the trail that are akin to motorcycles. So if youre going to allow an ebike on a trail, I think we have to open them up to at least surrons or any motrcycle that has a similar noise,speed, and weight.

A well informed commentator with previous racing experience, is all you need. Give them the list of racers the day before and let good old human ingenuity take over. I personally love the personalities Tippie and McCaul bring to the sport. I feel like CCI is trying to replicate this in theory. Im worried it will turn into brand and product placement in practice.
