Retallack is a "bucket list" must check off. We went on a whim last year, with the USD being strong. The drive up to the Retallack, via Nelson and the lake is worth it alone. Such a beautiful place. Mike has the show running sooooo smooth. The best part about it is that even though he's no BS, his peeps love him....absolutely love him and it shows as they guide, cook and party with you. Rylan (his 1st mate) is solid as well as the the afformentioned "Dude" and "Smoke" The Legend himself. Kia (House Mom) and hot as hell, is so sweet and keeps the boys in line, but don't let that fool you she'll run you over on the trail. The trails are immaculate. No brake bumps, no gravel at the bottom of the turns and they'll let you drop 30K+ in a day if you're up to it. After riding the fun begins. Slacklining, frolfing while enjoying apres. The nights are fun as hell...the challenge being to stay up with the crew. (Don't let Mike get you going on the Nailen game, you'll be pounding some beers) Accommodations are phenomenal. Food is 5 star and unique...they cater to your wishes - vegan, vegetarian, etc.. There is so much more complimentary stuff to say. Just know that you're riding where the Hoff Series is held and your being guided by one of smoothest and craziest Red Bull Rampage Legends that there is. Ask him about his Graveyard jump. In other words....GO!!!!!
