Agreed. On my CX I can wheelie off the line with clips from spinning alone, while flats just LOL in my face.. but next to no difference in top speed for me.

Opinion: 4 Lessons From Riding Inexpensive Bikes
I'm with you. I've been to a dozen different shops while I lived in the US and to this day I've only been in one where I thought it was worth giving them my business.
Here in Munich it's even worse. There's a bike shop on each street corner because demand is so high. No shops give two shits about you, remembering who you are, or giving you any sort of good service because realistically.. so many people come through, you don't matter.

Lapierre Overvolt AM 727i - First Ride
I don't want more people on the trails and I don't want MTB to be mainstream, so no thank you eMTB. The trails around where I live are seriously torn up and rutted from over crowding and rebuilding is not an option dolue to local laws. I spend more time looking out for posers who pose a danger to not only themselves, but others as well, than the ride itself. I'm looking forward to seeing the support for eMTB backfire in the faces of the supporters.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Care About Sustainability?
I cycle to work and the food I eat comes from the same place I live, Bavaria. I hike in the same mountains where the cheese and milk I buy is produced. Like most people living in Munich I work for a carbon neutral company. My Ikea furniture was produced exclusively in Europe. Avoiding pollution isn't easy but please don't make it out to sound impossible :)
