Help save Galbraith Mountain (Washington)
"Just look out for the good ol boys on motorcycles and 4 wd's they think this is their ticket back in there" Let me just add a little perspective to that remark. I am an avid off road motorcyclist and mt biker. Ten years ago I was riding my dirt bike up on Galbraith nearly everyday. I was also the primary builder of "Unemployment Line" a very popular machine built mt bike trail on Galbraith. I'm a good ol boy who is fully capable of building legit trail. I don't think stereotyping recreational users like that helps the cause right now. This should be an opportunity to rally more voices. We need equestrians, dirt bikers, hikers, environmentalists and mt bikers pulling together to save this hill. Only when its saved can we start to sort out who gets to recreate on it where and how. In my ideal world there would be a place for everybody on Galbraith with well designed trail to accommodate all the different users.

The section your talking about at 2:20 is eventually going to get another makeover. Currently there is another option that most other riders take. Lars built the gap jump on one of our trail days, and I believe he is one of the few people around here to actually hit it. You have to see this trail in person to even get a grasp on how well Lars rode it. The guy shreds!
