Diary of an Ol' Man

Well, I have been riding at Burlington Bike Park and I must say, it doesn't take long to get out of shape. Ha! Watching everyone fly off of the big stuff at BBP made me feel like I could pick it right back up. NOT!!! Two days on the pump track and I am well aware that I am an old man.... BUT, I am having fun. Lots of fun. Isn't that the point? Watching my friends Thalv and Thurston666 tackle the indoor mountains has been a treat for me. I just feel like an upside-down bowling pin on my bike.... And staring down the launch pad to the "fun jumps" reminds me of just how long it's been.

I hope to see other geezers out at BBP soon. Perhaps they will offer an old-guys' session at the park where we can talk about glory days to distract us from diving into the dirt oblivion....

All the best, PBers, and thanks for inspiring this old man to keep going and learn to fly again. Watching a lil' guy fly like a birdie makes me happy. Leaving my session at the park without any broken bones makes me even happier.
