First Ride: Michelin's Aggressive New Wild Enduro Tires
Really liked the old Wild Enduros in the summer, but the low temp performance was so bad that they wont be getting another try.

First Ride: 2024 Mondraker Dune eMTB - Punchy, Maneuverable, & Light Enough
@solamanda: sounds lovely. But for me, the "whole point" of any bike is to have fun, so I want the bike to be as fun as possible and a genuinely lightweight ebike seems to give me maximum fun as I can still bunnyhop and do tech stuff as needed but spend less time on the dull climbs.

First Ride: Fox Releases New Grip X & Grip X2 Dampers
Looks like they got rid of the plastic sleeve at the top of the damper that somehow breaks, which may be an improvement. Be nice if they had also done something about the CSU creak and increased realistic "service intervals" from (I assume) every ride to maybe once a year...

First Ride: 2024 Mondraker Dune eMTB - Punchy, Maneuverable, & Light Enough
Kind of defeats the "lightweight" part if you add the weight of a battery door, connector and another 2.5kg battery in your back-pack! I manage full days on 320Wh by pedaling more, and pedaling more is made less gruesome because its probably 7kgs+ lighter than your FF with a spare battery.

Review: SDG Tellis V2 Dropper Post - No Slop, More Drop
Thanks for comparing to the One-up, saves a lot of time. Unfortunately getting the maximum drop with available insertion is still the top priority with a lot of frame designs. How does this seat clamp work? It looks like it just clamps everything in place, which would mean that adjusting is a case of loosening bolts, tapping up or down and then re-tightening? The problem with this method is that if you want to drop the nose a tiny bit but then knock it fully out of position you can't easily get back to where you started. Being able to loosen the rear bolt and tighten the front to drop the nose seems much more controllable.

Video: Good Times in Finale Ligure at the Focus Bikes Athlete Summit
@dick-pound: might have been less, but it's 1000m of climbing and we started from San Bernardino and had a preliminary descent of Dolman if I remember correctly. Additionally, riding up that busy road with traffic in the rain isn't ideal ebike or otherwise.

Shuttling with light weight ebikes is great. Went to Finale last month and did this. One uplift in the morning then self uplift the rest of the day. Means you swap the 2 hours and 75% battery it takes to ride up in eco for a 30 minute van ride. You can then explore a whole lot more and climb back up as needed without being stuck in a van all day. Highly recommend it.
