Pinkbike Poll: What's the Most You'd Spend on a Mountain Bike?
We could hang, Nova Scotia style. I did about the same to a Kona Process 153 AL/DL; brakes, tires, bar and stem for fit and a ramp control cartridge for the fork. Sweet ride for about $4K. Some can spend twice as much but nothing about those bikes will be twice a good.
That said, I did drop $6K on a full suspension Ebike for my wife so she can have a chance at keeping up with me on the trails I like. She told me she wanted to ride. We live and learn
