Pinkbike Tech: SWAT Your Bike
I carry a FiberFix spoke in my kit. I can use it to fix any broken spoke on my bike including one on the rear drive-side without removing the cassette. These things are super light and small. All you need to use it is a little wheel truing knowledge. http://www.fiberfixspoke.com/ And no, I don't work for them but I have used it several times and it has gotten me home.

GT Bicycles and Atherton Racing Join Forces
What about suspension and component sponsors? Wasn't GT a RockShox/Sram team and Atherton Racing has been one of the primary Fox teams.

Kakah has it right. Both coil and air shocks can use the same dampers. Coil sprung shocks do not use nitrogen or air as springing agents. Nitrogen is used to charge the IFP in air shocks or coil shocks without piggy backs. In a piggy back system, regular air is used. But this is in the damper, not the spring.

Sick Biker - Why do you have to be a hater? Both first and second place - Griz and Tyler - are on the X-Fusion Vector HLR coil-over shock. X-Fusion does not make a DH fork (yet).
