EVOC’s New Mountain Bike Bag Pro Is Lighter and More Travel-Friendly
@rustiegrizwold: here are some reasons:
- much easier to roll a bike bag than carry a box
- it's far more convenient to pack into an EVOC bike bag than it is into a box
- easier to store a colapsible bike bag at your hotel/destination than a box
- despite it being 'soft sided', they feature internal vertical and horizontal supports which do a great job protecting the bike
If your bag is damaged in transit, you should claim with your insurer. If you're not insured, you're taking massive risk with box (considering what you said about the waivers).
