First Look: Whyte Bikes E-Lyte with Bosch SX Motor
Great to see a bike company recognise that if you add a range extender to your ebike you're going to want a drink even more and provide an additonal bottle mount. I would already be riding a Kenevo SL if they'd stuck an under-toptube bottle mount on.

Throwback Thursday: Enduro of Nations 2011, Sauze D'Oulx
A friend and I were fortunate enough to stop by Sauze D'Oulx on the way home from the Val di Sole World Cup in 2015. Unfortunately we had weather similar to the race day shown here and they closed the lifts! We pedaled up to do a run and came down what I still think is the slippiest bike park track I have EVER ridden. Perhaps we were unlucky with the trail we chose but it was a very clay heavy soil that immediately smeared if you so much as looked at your brake lever.
I'd love to go back one day and ride it in the dry as I'm convinced it would be absurdly fast rolling once hard-packed.

Staff Ride: Brian's '10 Year' RAAW Madonna V2 Project Bike
I've just rebuilt my wheels after running them for 6 years with Sapim Polyax aluminium nipples. They went through 2 bikes, several alps trips, dozens of uplifts, 10s of enduro and DH races and countless all day rides without a single failure. Not even one rounded from re-trues.
Unfortunately the rebuild took me from old WTB KOM i25 rims to KOM "Tough" i29s which have not just dented but flat spotted after the second ride. Once again though, the nipples are fine!

Nukeproof Release Updated Horizon Sam Hill Flat Pedals - Core Bike 2020
Great, I LOVE my V1s; I've just rebuilt them with new bushes and bearings and they seem to be good to go for another couple of years so I know the longevity is there.
BUT they didn't solve what has been the main drawback for me, which is that the outer pins are just grub screws and not through-pins. They got torn off a little too regularly whereas the front and back pins shrug everything off and I've never had to touch them.
My next set of pedals will be through-pin only for that reason.
