@26forlyfe: unfortunately there will be recovery, but not fully because Adolf seems to have an T3 AIS A or maybe a B lesion (but i don't see the muscles needed for a B). And Emil has had a rupture of a strong flexor of the hip that he will never be able to use (when walking one uses the iliopsoas to advance the leg). Then the femoral nerve injury he has "The nerve is still not fully responding and due to that, I have no ability yet to extend my leg" seems to be important because at 4.5 months he has not much activity in the muscle and that means that a full recovery of his nerve will be almost impossible. The thing is that I love the spirit of our sport and that we are supportive with the athletes but I think the disscussions that we have in the comments would be more realistic if we would know what's the rehabilitation potential of those injuries. That means unfortunately that both will not return to this sport (for Emil at a performance level).
