Without at least the riders height and weight what is the point of all the HSC etc settings? Some of us would probably find that information useful then but without it even the bike size is a pointless detail.

@takeaimcycling: @ this whole thread. We are all entitled to an opinion. I have been MTB for over 30 yrs and am faster than most. I thought I had things figured out pretty well and never had any coaching. I have been watching these instructional biking videos for the last few years and it really has opened my eyes to some of my bad technique/habits. So much so that I have a new appreciation for coaching and now would consider hiring a coach. Maybe instead of stating the obvious and criticizing these instructional videos/how they confuse your clients/it's not the same as in person coaching consider it is probably helpful to the masses/opening the mind of bikers to coaching/sending some new clients your way. Ben makes some really good content and has my respect.
