Neck Braces - Should You Be Wearing One?
I got one and used it a couple of times on non-lift-assisted rides. Now it's collecting dust like all the rest of my riding gear since there just is no time to spend 6 hours going to the woods anymore. Middle age sucks.

Offset swing arm sounds like a good idea. Why to build rear wheels asymmetrical if you can have the spokes of both sides evenly tightened thus a stronger wheel.

I wonder how many spare rear derailleurs (+minimal tools to swap them) you could carry for the weight of one gear box... And the coil shock :D + hard tail frame accomodates MASSIVE bag in the front triangle.
