Winner Announced: Win It Wednesday - Enter to Win An e*thirteen HELIX R Cassette
Used their older TRS+ to replace a busted XO1 12speed and have put about 500 miles on it. I wouldn't say its quite as good as XO1 (a bit noisier), but I haven't had any major issues. I do like the 9speed as it allowed me to get more out of my 32T chanring. I also didn't need to pay $400+ dollars for it. For me the cost to performance ratio is pretty good on E13.... would love to try their newer Helix R.

Review: Mavic Crossmax XL 29" Alloy Wheels
I wont ever go Mavic again, horrible customer service. I had a brand new set of XA Pro 29" wheels.. after 8 mo, the rear hub blew apart. Well the company went belly up in those 8mo, and basically told me to fu@% off. Wouldn't respond to emails, so im just out $600 and SOL.

Thought Experiment: What Would It Take to Build a Sub-7kg Mountain Bike Using Only Stock Parts?
Time for a gravity bike build.... you save some weight by removing the gears, crankset etc... but they literally add weights to the bike for better handling and faster times:
