First Look: EXT Aria V2 & Aria V2 DH Shocks
They should test these boutique shocks to shocks that many people are running (also older ones). It will be difficult with all the different tunes and tuning options but there are so many variables when it comes to shock tuning that I doubt such boutique shocks are worth their money. Its easier to pick up a cheap mass production shock like an X2 from some sale which tune best matches the frame. And when it still doesn't fit you can get it re-tuned and still save a lot of money. The old X2 there are currently deals where you get them for under 200 new.

@Dougal-SC: What about the old X2 (23-25)? I have one with really light tunes: 2025_24, FLOAT X2, F-S, K, 2pos-Adj, Ibis, HD6, 230, 65, 0.3 Spacer x1, CX001, ECR012, Rezi BX001
So far its holding up for two seasons with a cascade long shock link in a levo gen3. Pretty supple but I can also set it up more supportive or lively. I also heard the new X2 isn't as supple. Is that true or just a tune thing? Fox went to a mono tube design but doesn't twin tube has advantages? When the CC double barrrel was the hot shit every tuner raved about twin tube architecture being the pinnacle of damper design.

The old one or the new one? I've heard the new one is less supple. I'm riding the latest iteration of the old design with the twin tube design and it holds up for two seasons so far.

@darkstar3337: But it feels way more forced and ubiquious than with other brands. I get that the fanboys are annoying. Back in the day I thought Bosch fanboys were annoying but the Avinox guys are on a whole other level. They will get angry if you don't agree that Amflow isn't the best thing ever that happened to mankind, your current bike is unrideable and you are not on your way to an dealer to buy at least two Avinox bikes.
